It's been a busy few months since my last post. My editor at Sisters in Crime Chessie Chapter and I have completed final revisions on one ms, and it is now ready for pre-publication preparation. Looking forward to galleys!

After getting some very helpful feedback from my fellow scribblers in the Rockville Writers' Group, I have sent another ms for a new anthology, Trust & Treachery: Tales of Power, Intrigue, and Violence. The theme: Power struggles, politics, posturing: whether it’s parliament, the royal family, a coven, or your homeowner’s association, power breeds distrust, intrigue, and violence. Sounds just right for my tale of a super secret government agency and one agent's struggle with his latest assignment and his conscience.

Meantime, got to keep the juices--and stories--flowing. Such is a crime fiction writer's life.

About us

S.G. Basu - An engineer by profession and forever seeking a balance between my love for science and my passion for the arts, I had always hoped to find a way to channel the sparks of creativity that burned within me. While pursuing an business degree, I embarked on a writing project that has since grown into an inseparable part of my life as a science fiction novelist.

Joe Demasco - After more than three decades of teaching, working with, and writing about engineering and information technology, I decided to stimulate the right side of my brain and make stuff up for a change. My fiction writing efforts are focused on the mystery, thriller, and suspense genres.

Judy Kelly - Growing up reading stories with a flashlight at night and watching characters on TV and movies every moment possible, I yearned to write. I began writing screen plays and children’s novels. My students loved the stories written especially for them. I did technical and curriculum writing, but I ached to write fiction. Writing one novel led to another which led to others, later short stories and more screen plays.

Joe Radko - I am an IT professional who has always loved science fiction. I spent a good part of my childhood in one book or another. Many times I would be dissatisfied with what I was reading so I would make up my own stories with their characters. From there, I began creating my own characters and stories.
